BEACH PARADISE TOUR

Beach, serenity and a sense of tropical luxury. Enjoy scooping coconut meat adn drinking that delectable coconut milk while you sink your feet in the smooth sands and let the breeze massage your face.....beach paradise....and a bit of safari as you take a break to Mole in the northern part of Ghana.

Day 1  ARRIVE IN ACCRA
Arrive in Accra. Meet your driver/guide from Global Village Travel and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2  ACCRA TO AXIM
After breakfast depart for a drive westwards along the tropical coastline.  Enroute visit Cape Coast castle and Elmina castle and Kakum National Park.  After lunch continue westwards to Axim in the Western Region of Ghana known for its relaxing, refreshing and spectacular beaches. Overnight at your waterfront hotel in Axim.

Day 3  AXIM
Breakfast at your hotel. Soak in pure relaxation at one of the best beaches in Ghana. Enjoy the feeling of being away from it all in this quiet, peaceful environment (optional tour to Ankassa forest reserve available).  Overnight at your hotel in Axim.

Day 4  AXIM
Breakfast at your hotel. Day of leisure (optional visit to Fort Antonio which was built by the Portugues in 1515) as a trading post. Overnight at your hotel in Axim.

Day 5  MOLE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart to Mole in the Northern Region of Ghana. Upon arrival in Mole National Park relax and view the terrain below.  Or take a late afternoon trek on the trail of elephants, buffalos, warthogs among over 90 types of mammals at the park. Overnight in Mole National Park.

Day 6  MOLE NATIONAL PARK
Early morning trek to view the mammals at Mole. Afterwards have breakfast and visit the village of Larabanga with its famous Larabanga mosque and the mystery stone.  Explore the local lifestyle at Mognori village.  Overnight at Mole National Park.

Day 7 MOLE - AXIM
After breakfast drive to Axim and again observe the marked contrast of geographical terrain as you travel southwards 
(option to branch to the town of Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region to feast your eyes on its famous cascading waterfalls. Arrive at your Axim hotel for relaxation and overnight.

Day 8  AXIM
Breakfast at your hotel.  Soak in pure relaxation on this your final day at Axim.  Overnight at your hotel in Axim.

Day 9  NZULEZU
After breakfast depart for a drive to Nzulezu also in the Western Region.  Nzulezu is a UNESCO world heritage site on Lake Tadane in the Western Region.  Here homes are built on stilts on the water thus the name Nzulezu which means 'surface of water' in the Nzema language.  Afterwards continue on to Accra for overnight.

Day 10  ACCRA CITY TOUR
After breakfast depart for a city tour of Accra. Afterewards depart to Kotoka International Airport for your onward flight.
